Mugabe’s son glorifies his father

The son of late former president Robert Mugabe recently expressed his feelings towards his late father. Robert Junior said his father had sacrificed a lot for his country and his people. In a message on social media Robert remarked,”My father was a servant of Zimbabweans, sacrificed his life for you”

The Mugabe family has since moved away from the spotlight following the death of the former president. Some people agreed with Robert and said Mugabe was indeed a great leader who had put his life on the line for his country. Others referred to how he had stood up to the whites telling them to mind their own business and allow him to rub the affairs of his country.

Some, however, had a different opinion. They branded the late president a dictator who had caused so much suffering and economic distress. They referred to police brutality during his time as well as the thwarting of members of opposition parties. The social media debate showed a difference of views on Robert’s sentiments.

Mugabe ruled the country for over three decades and was ousted by a coup in November 2017. He late on passed away. Robert Junior is quite a hit with the ladies and carries his late father’s charisma an charm. Every child would want their parent to be seen as a hero and Robert is no exception
