Fans Not Happy About The New Mr Ugly Zimbabwe, Calls Him Too Handsome
The Mr Ugly Zimbabwe judges have faced criticism for choosing a “handsome” contestant for the Mr Ugly title.
42 year old Mison Sere was crowned the new Mr Ugly Zimbabwe Friday night taking the crown form the fan favorite and three time title holder William Masvinu.
Fans deemed Sere too handsome saying he is only ugly when he smiles therefore not deserving of the title.
Sere dismissed the criticism saying people should just accept the fact that he’s ugly. “They should just accept that I am uglier than them”, he said.
The 42 year old already knows what’s next after claiming the Mr Ugly title. “I hope to get a TV contract. I already moved around schools performing and showcasing my ugliness so this is a chance to make it on TV”, talk about an ugly man with a plan!
This year’s competition was said to have been tougher with 35 contestants taking part as compared to 10 contestants in previous years. Sere walked away with $500 for being the ugliest man in Zimbabwe 2015.
