Rumbidzai “Rumbi” Muzopa Represents Zimbabwe at Miss Intercontinental 2025

Rumbidzai “Rumbi” Muzopa, the 29-year-old real estate consultant and model from Honde Valley, is set to represent Zimbabwe at the Miss Intercontinental 2025 pageant in Egypt today. Known for her poise, beauty, and intelligence, Rumbi carries the hopes of a nation as she competes among more than 80 contestants. Insiders say she is determined to make a mark and is not here to blend in.

Rumbi is no stranger to international stages. She previously represented Zimbabwe at the Top Model of the World finals in Egypt in 2018, an experience that strengthened her ambition. “It is my second international pageant. Going back to Egypt again you know what they say about second time being a charm. This time we are going to make it,” she says with confidence.

Her preparation has been rigorous. For seven months, Rumbi trained under Crown Hunter Ishmael Murangandi, renowned for grooming winners. The training focused on refining her runway walk, public speaking, and mental resilience. “This journey has been intense, inspiring, and transformative,” she admits. Fashion plays a central role in her presentation. Rumbi’s wardrobe tells a story, drawing inspiration from Zimbabwe’s national colours and heritage. She will showcase designs from Monkey Rain Atelier, Velori Vita by Catherine Wonder, Les Scentury Luxury, Push Athletics, Kimstyles Luxury, ViGlamz, and Jewel, ensuring she stands out on stage. “Above all, the world needs more love, and I can’t wait to show the kindness and rich culture of our people,” she says.

Rumbi finds inspiration in global icons who broke barriers, citing Naomi Campbell for her representation and work ethic. Her ambition extends beyond beauty; she aims to leave a legacy.

Off-stage, Rumbi balances multiple careers. She works as a real estate consultant and manages the JBC Men’s Basketball Team, proving her ability to lead and strategize while pursuing modelling and pageantry.

Looking ahead, Rumbi hints at future pageants, teasing possibilities like Miss Supranational or Miss Grand. She follows in the footsteps of notable Zimbabwean representatives, including Lyshanda Moyasa, Brooke Bruk Shields, and Yollanda Chimbarami.
