1. Kanjiva

There is no doubt that Janet Manyowa has been the biggest gospel artist in 2018. Apart from winning several awards, she has been releasing hits. Her biggest being ‘Ndomutenda Nei?’. You don’t have to be a church person to love the song. It’s just one of those songs that uplifts your spirits.

Killer T will love the woman that he loves on ‘Ndamuda’. The song is accompanied by a relatable music video which has over a million views.

Ex Q and Jah Prayzah combined with DJ Tamuka’s production hae proved that MTM is a powerhouse. With a colourful and fun music video, Pahukama has been one of those party songs.

7. Ngirozi

With the unleashing of Gombwe, Winky D brought on his spiritual side. ‘Ngirozi’ brings people to church, even in the club.

8. Mai Mwana

Takura gave lovers and anthem for a lifetime. The ladies sway to the sexy R&B track about being wifey.

9. Boom Shelele

No Zimdancehall mix would be complete without Nutty O’s single. The levels produced single found a number of artists riding on the riddim. Boom Shelele is that one song that everyone’s been singing a along to in 2018.

10. Nzenza

‘Mukadzi haarambirwe kuroya, anorambirwa hupfambi, as long as she’s faithful and lovely’, are the lyrics to Nzenza. Ex Q and Freeman’s collaboration has been the soundtrack of 2018. The song is very popular with the ladies. Guys love to praise their ladies through Mr Putiti’s verses.
