Yollanda Chimbarami Represents Zimbabwe at Miss International 2025

Reigning Miss International Zimbabwe, Yollanda Chimbarami, departed for Tokyo, Japan, on Tuesday to represent her country at the 63rd edition of the Miss International pageant, scheduled for November 27 in Shibuya. At 26, Yollanda carries the hopes and dreams of Zimbabwe, aiming to showcase the nation’s power, grace, and resilience on the global stage.

Yollanda expressed pride and determination ahead of the competition. She stated, “Every step I take, every smile I share, it’s all for everyone, my Zimbabwean family. Let’s show the world the power, grace and resilience of our people.” She emphasized that her participation extends beyond personal ambition, representing the spirit and beauty of her country with unwavering purpose.

The Miss International 2025 event will feature 82 contestants from around the world. Participants will travel across Japan engaging in cultural exchanges, charity activities, and various sub-contests leading up to the main event. The pageant, first held in 1960, is recognized as one of the four major global beauty contests alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth. Last year, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy claimed the Miss International crown.

Yollanda is a multi-talented artist and entrepreneur with achievements spanning modeling, acting, and business. On the runway, she has worked with top designers including David Tlale and Danielle Allen. Her acting credits include films such as ‘‘Windfall’’, ‘‘In Plain Sight’’, ‘‘Finally Caught’’, ‘‘Stump the Guesser’’, and ‘‘The Day My Job Tried to Kill Me’’. She has also provided voice work for Disney’s animated series ‘Supa Strikas’.

Beyond entertainment, Yollanda is the founder of the shoe brand ‘YC Yollanda’ and co-founder of the charitable initiative ‘Help A Child Save A Nation’, which funds tuition for over 200 children in Zimbabwe. She also serves as a United Nations panellist advocating for education in Africa and as a youth ambassador for the Rick Hansen Foundation.

Her journey reflects a blend of talent, entrepreneurship, and social impact. Yollanda’s participation in Miss International 2025 is set to highlight not only her personal achievements but also Zimbabwe’s culture, resilience, and global presence.
