Ngezi Platinum Stars have embarked on a 9 day pre-season camp in Victoria Falls.

The team left Mhondoro on Tuesday the 24th of January headed for the resort town which will host Madamburo for 9 days.

The pre-season camp will be an opportunity for the Ngezi Platinum Stars’ technical team to embark on team building as well as continue fine tuning their squad ahead of the 2023 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season.

Led by club captain Qadr Amini, the squad left their Mhondoro base with the bulk of the players that were part of the team which secured a top four finish last season.

Since the appointment of Takesure Chiragwi as the substantive Ngezi Platinum Stars FC Head Coach in December, the club has not rested on its laurels in as far as preparing for the 2023 PSL season is concerned.

Madamburo kickstarted their pre-season preparations before the Christmas break with players put on a programme aimed at ensuring they get back into shape.

Given the competitive nature of the domestic premiership Chiragwi is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring his squad is ready for the forthcoming season.

With the PSL yet to release dates of when the 2023 season will begin, Chiragwi is looking to ensure his charges are in the best possible shape when the domestcic topflight gets underway.

With Madamburo having roped in 3 new players namely Malvin Gaki, Claude Mapoka and former Black Rhinos defender Gareth Madhake, the Victoria Falls camp will be an opportunity for new acquisitions to get more acquainted with their new teammates.
