Genius Ginimbi Apologizes For His ‘Mercedes Benz S-class Is For Civil Servants’ Comment
32 year old businessman and socialite Genius Ginimbi has apologized for his ignorant remarks he made in a video posted by MudiwaHood on social media.
In a casual interview with MudiwaHood, Ginimbi who now is the youngest person in Africa to own the 2016 Rolls Royce Wraith worth $400 000 said Mercedes Benz S-Class is for civil servants. The video which has since gone viral rubbed off people the wrong way.
The young millionaire says he didn’t think the video would go viral and was caught in a playful moment. “I had even forgotten about it and had no idea it would go viral like that. Now it is coming out as if ndaidada and insulted civil servants, but no, that is not it”, he told a local newspaper.
“I would never in my right mind insult people that work hard for this country. People that make this country great. I am not that arrogant. I wish I could take back that video and how it came out.”
Ginimbi says he apologizes to every civil servant who felt offended by the video saying he underestimated the clip. “I work with civil servants on a daily basis. I crossed the line and would like to ensure that it is known by everyone who may have been offended that I did not mean it and that I’m sorry”, he said.
For those who took offense, Ginimbi says his first luxury vehicle was a S-class and he still drive the ‘S’ model, if it helps.
