Music superstars Jah Prayzah and Oliver Mtukudzi will headline the SAMA Festival UK this year.

The 2017 edition of the Southern Africa Music and Arts Festival (SAMA) will be hosted by Y2K Entertainment. The show is dubbed ‘Thriller UK Tour’  will have four of Zimbabwe’s biggest artists including Tuku, Winky D, Fungisai and Jah Prayzah share a stage.

The show will be hosted at various venues in the UK including London Oasis Banqueting from April 14 to April 15. Tickets are already on sale online and the show is expected to be biggest yet to date.

Southern Africa Music and Arts Festival is an annual event which began in August 2009. The festival is aimed at promoting musicians with African origins, predominantly from Southern Africa. Y2K is the first UK promoter to bring Zimdancehall and urban grooves artists to perform in the UK. Zimbabwean acts that have previously headlined the SAMA Festival have included Mafriq, Roki, Winky D, Sniper Storm and Shingai Shoniwa and The Noisettes.
