Mutare Takes Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2018

Miss Tourism Zimbabwe is a platform for beauty queens to represent the country. The 2018 queen is from Mutare, 23 year old lawyer, Tafadzwa Jaricha.  She was named the country’s top beauty in the competition at a show held at Bulawayo Rainbow on Saturday.

Jaricha walked away with a cash prize of $10 000 courtesy of Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) and is set to receive a Mercedes-Benz C Class from South Africa-based Zimbabwean businesswoman and philanthropist, Mercy Mafaro.

Natalie Mangondo from Mashonaland West was named 1st Princess while Life Matunzeni is the 2nd Princess.

It was the first edition of the pageant held since Sarah Mpofu took over the license in 2017.
