King Kandoro Launches State of the Nation Comedy Tour Across Southern Africa
King Kandoro, the multi-award-winning humourist and founder of the New School Comedy Club, is set to take audiences on a laughter-filled journey with his State of the Nation Comedy Tour. Known for his sharp wit and fearless satire, Kandoro will tackle the highs and lows of 2025, blending humour with social commentary to deliver a performance that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
The tour kicks off on December 6 at the Bulawayo Academy of Music. Eight days later, on December 14, Kandoro will be joined by fellow African comedy stars Hillary Okello from Uganda and Vafa Naraghi from South Africa at the Victory Theatre in Johannesburg. Born Mukudzei Kandoro Majoni and recently earning the nickname “Mr Sold Out,” Kandoro has quickly become one of Africa’s most recognizable comedy figures. His performances at major festivals, including the Nairobi Comedy International Festival, have captivated audiences with a mix of local and global humour.
