All set for Axis Solutions Super 8 Cup
Simba Bhora and Chegutu Pirates will get the much-awaited Axis Solutions Super 8 Cup underway with a clash slated for Wadzanai Stadium on the 16th of April. In the other clash slated for the weekend of 16/17 April, Herentals will clash against Black Mambas at Morris Depot stadium.
The third quarterfinal will be an encounter pitting Ngezi Platinum under 19 and Golden Eagles at the Baobab Stadium while Commando Bullets and Trojan Stars will lock horns at Trojan Stadium.
The draw for the Axis Solutions Africa Super 8 Cup was held in the capital recently with teams that were placed in the top 8 at the halfway stage of the season booking a place in what promises to be an exciting competition.
Speaking at the launch Northern Region Division One Chairman Martin Kweza was elated with the sacrifice made by Axis Solutions, “Their current sponsorship has brought joy and excitement among our teams and has brought a great deal of competitiveness among the teams” said Kweza.
Giving remarks at the draw Axis Solutions Chief Executive Officer Brian Mukudzavhu was excited with the prospect of the top 8 competition, “This is actually our first time to do any sponsorship of this nature and last time I mentioned it was more to do with the professionalism that was exhibited by the Northern Region Soccer League and we are excited about this partnership”.
