Although the Zimbawean national team is rated slightly higher in rank on the world rankings, they still need to be wary of Botswana.
The warriors midfielder Ovidy Karuru said the team needs to win against Botswana with a great margin to enhance their chances of qualifying for the Afcon. Khama Billiat also reiterated the same sentiments and said the last time the two teams had an encounter, the Warriors lost.
Most people are pregnant with anxiety over the outcome of the match. Zimbabwe boasts of several players in various international teams such as Marvellous Nakamba who plays for Aston Villa. A victory will certainly better chances of the team leaping into the Afcon line up. In spite of a dissapointing perfomance at the previous Afcon tournament in Egypt, fans are optimistic that should they win this time, the warriors will put up a sterling perfomance.
