Golden Eagles FC Secure Official Technology Partner

Ambitious Northern Region Division One side Golden Eagles have taken a step forward in their quest for professionalism by securing a partnership with local tech company Innovative Technologies.

The club has officially named Innovative Technologies as their technology partner, which will play a key role in providing technology to monitor and enhance performance.

Wearable smart technology is an essential part of modern football that is used by top clubs to gather data on player performance, and this is set to be among the pieces of technology that will be at the disposal of the Golden Eagles technical department.

Metrics such as acceleration, deceleration, average heart rate, distance per minute, high-speed running, high-intensity distance and max speed are all vital information that top clubs are using to improve their performance.

With Innovative Technologies coming on board as the Golden Eagles technology partner, Gondo Harishaye is hoping this development will help enhance their performance as they strive to gain promotion into the domestic premiership.

So far Golden Eagles have played two encounters, losing their first game of the season to Herentals before bouncing back with a 2-1 win over ZRP Harare.
