Kadewere makes ligue 1 team of the week

Warriors and Olympique Lyon forward Tinotenda Kadewere has made it onto the French ligue 1 team of the week following a sensational performance which saw him score a brace in Lyon’s 2-1 win over St Etienne on Sunday evening.

Kadewere is the second Zimbabwean player in a row to make the team of the week after Marshall Munetsi attained the same achievement on matchday 9 of the French topflight.

Kadewere is among a list of prominent names which include Argentine Angel Di Maria. Kadewere attained the second highest number of points at 8.5 with only Di Maria scoring higher with 9.5.
