Khama Billiat back with a bang

Khama Billiat turned on the style with a crucial strike which helped Kaizer Chiefs secure a crucial Caf champions league quater final berth.

Yakhouba Gnagna had handed AC Horoya the lead in the 45th minute, but that strike was cancelled out by Daniel Cardoso who scored from the penalty spot in the 67th minute.

AC Horoya then regained the lead in the 69th minute courtesy of Sekou Camara as the hosts looked to seal a place in the last 8 of Africa’s biggest club competition.

Khama Billiat then showed why Amakhosi paid a hefty fee for his services after a scoring a crucial equaliser which ensured Kaizer Chiefs earned a quater final berth for the first time in the club’s history. The draw saw Amakhosi secure second spot with 9 points, the same number as AC Horoya who would have been left devastated with the draw.

Wydad AC topped group C with 13 points in a group which saw Pedro de Luanda and AC Horoya wave goodbye to the competition.
