Mangwiro charged for misconduct
Harare City FC coach Taurai Mangwiro has been slapped with a USD$1 250 fine for misconduct during his team’s 0-2 loss to chicken Inn in the first round of the Chibuku Super Cup at Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo last weekend.
Mangwiro made some irresponsible comments to the media in the aftermath of that defeat a behaviour that is not in tandem with the Premier Soccer League’s standing rules and regulations.
The Harare City gaffer joins Triangle’s Jairos Tapera, Norman Mapeza of FC Platinum and Manica Diamonds’ Johanisi Nhumwa to name a few who have been fined for unruly behaviour during this season.
A statement dispatched by the Premier Soccer league (PSL) this Thursday confirmed the latest development.
“Harare City FC coach Taurai Mangwiro has been charged with misconduct following comments he made in the media after his team’s Chibuku Super Cup first round match against Chicken Inn FC at Luveve Stadium on Saturday 20 August 2022.
Mangwiro was fined a sum of USD$1 250.
