Munetsi makes 50th appearance for Reims
Zimbabwe international midfielder Marshall Munetsi continues to make strides in the French top flight league after the player made his 50th appearance for Stade de Reims in their scoreless draw against Lorient at the Stade Auguste-Delaune on Sunday.
Munetsi who joined the French side in 2019 has been one of the most consistent players at the club and has seen himself commanding a first team jersey.
Confirming the development, the 25-year-old midfielder took to Twitter to celebrate his milestone.
“Very proud to have had 50 appearances for Reims in Ligue 1. I’m looking forward to the next 50,” posted Munetsi.
The Friendly Academy and Blue Rangers product joined South Africa’s National First Division side Ubuntu Cape Town in July 2015 as his professional career begun.

Munetsi’s abilities would then see him being snapped up by French Ligue 1 club Stade de Reims on 11 June 2019 on a four-year deal.
