Ngezi Platinum seek to maintain winning trail
By Geronimo News
Ngezi Platinum will this weekend be looking to put a further dent on Dynamos’ title credentials when they travel to Harare for a date against the glamour boys.
Having won their last two league encounters against Chicken Inn and Bulawayo Chiefs, Ngezi platinum will now be taking aim at dembare. While Dynamos still harbour ambitions of taking the title race to the wire for Ngezi Platinum a top 4 finish remains the primary objective.
Despite having gone through a barren spell which saw them succumbing to a 1 nil loss at the hands of Cranborne bullets and a 2 nil defeat to Herentals in the Chibuku Super Cup, Madamburo’s response has been impressive.
Back to back wins against Chicken Inn and Bulawayo Chiefs have put Ngezi Platinum Stars in high spirits and if the Mhondoro based club can maintain the rich vein of form, Takesure Chiragwi could well claim the substantive coaching role which was left vacant following the departure of Benjani Mwaruwari.
After putting up a glittering performance on his full debut, Tapiwa Mandinyenya will be again hoping to get the nod up top as he seeks to make an impression at Madamburo. Having been a key component of the Ngezi Platinum Stars squad in recent matches, Tinotenda Murasiranwa will also be looking to keep his place against Dynamos.
With FC Platinum having opened up an 8 point lead at the top of the standings, Dynamos will be desperate for maximum points so as to keep pressure on the log leaders.
