Ngezi Platinum Stars eager to maintain momentum

By Geronimo News

Ngezi Platinum Stars will this week be hoping to maintain the positive momentum which has seen them going for 6 psl matches without tasting defeat.

After being held to a 1 all draw by Harare City at the Nationals Sports Stadium in their last outing, Madamburo will be keen to bounce back to winning ways when they clash against Black Rhinos in their next fixture which is slated for the Baobab Stadium on Saturday.

Having collected 14 points from a possible 18 in their last 6 fixtures, Ngezi Platinum will be looking to assert themselves in the top 4 when they clash against a tricky Black Rhinos side. Despite Madamburo’s current positive run, Black Rhinos will be no push overs especially given the fact that the army men have done well to position themselves in the top 8.

After overcoming Tenax FC 2 nil in their last fixture, Black Rhinos will be keen to maintain the winning spirit when they travel to Mhondoro. Ngezi will on the other hand be looking to maintain their fine form in a crucial contest which will be key in determining whether they keep their place in the top 4.

Placed fourth on 47 points, Madamburo could maintain their current position if they win their next match. A draw or a defeat could however see them slide into 5th if Highlanders manage to get the better of Bulawayo Chiefs in their next fixture.

After a week out owing to the Chibuku Super Cu0p semi-finals, Ngezi Platinum will be looking to return to league action on a high when they come face to face with Black Rhinos in a contest where the platinum miners will want to capitalise on home advantage.
