Prince Dube sparkles again
Zimbabwean striker Prince Dube produced yet another performance to remember after scoring a brace in Azam FC’s 2 nil win over Mtibwa Sugar on Friday evening.
After spending weeks out owing to a thigh injury, the Zimbabwean international could not have asked for a better return with an 8th minute penalty and a strike in the 86th minute helping guide Azam to a home victory.
Dube who has had a blistering start to life in East Africa, has emerged as one of the top strikers in Tanzania. Top performances have seen the warriors forward being linked with possible moves to North Africa.
Injury kept Dube out of action for the Warriors in recent Afcon qualifiers against Botswana and Zambia, but a return from injury will be music to the ears of Zdravcko Logarusic who now looks forward to world cup qualifiers which get underway in June.
