Eemoh Set to Light Up Gwanda With Amapiano Vibes This Saturday

Gwanda will be the place to be this Saturday as South African Amapiano star Eemoh headlines a major performance at Phoenix Shisanyama. The mining town is preparing for an unforgettable night of music and entertainment, with the event marking Eemoh’s first live public performance in Matabeleland South’s capital.

The show will feature Harare-based artist Hwinza as a supporting act, bringing his unique sound to the stage. The line-up also includes a strong roster of local talent such as Kay_Kid Umfanomsotho, Blvck Operation, Virus, Msaigwa, Keitho, Skot Mangena, and MC Freddy K. This mix of regional and local acts promises a diverse showcase that blends Amapiano with homegrown styles.

For Eemoh, the Gwanda show is a key moment as he repositions himself under new management to expand his footprint across Africa. His growing popularity in the Amapiano scene makes this performance highly anticipated by fans eager to experience his sound live.

Event organiser DJ Keitho said the gig represents the return of top-quality live music to Gwanda. “Phoenix Shisanyama is once again back to give people value for their money. Starting this week, we’ll be hosting regular shows as the summer season begins. More regional acts will follow, and as always, we’ll use the opportunity to promote local artistes so they can mingle and network with renowned acts on and off the stage,” he said.

The event comes at a time when Gwanda is increasingly positioning itself as a hub for live entertainment in Matabeleland South. With more shows expected in the coming months, Saturday’s gig is set to set the tone for a vibrant summer season in the town.

Music lovers from Gwanda and surrounding areas can expect a night of powerful performances, cultural exchange, and the unmistakable energy of Amapiano. For local artists, it is also a chance to gain exposure and share the stage with some of the region’s most exciting names.

Phoenix Shisanyama is ready to come alive this weekend, and with Eemoh leading the charge, Gwanda looks set for a memorable night of music.
