Zim Warriors and Barcelona Legends Draw 2-2

Zimbabwe warriors legends played Barcelona legends and drew 2-2. The match that saw footballers from yesteryear was played at the National Sports Stadium.  Fans got to be entertained for an entire 90 minutes as the teams went toe to toe.

The Warriors team featured the likes of Madinda Ndlovu, Peter Ndlovu, Kaitano Tembo, Moses Chunga, Dumisani Mpofu, Ronald “Gidiza” Sibanda and Kalisto Pasuwa. PHD Ministries founder Walter Magaya made an appearance for the Warriors legends when he came in for Johannes Ngodzo in the 79th minute.

Barcelona legends scored in the 6th minute when Patrick Kluivert headed home an Edgar Davies’ cross. Patrick Kluivert doubled the lead four minutes later. Zenzo Moyo pulled one back for the Warriors in the second half when he scored a brilliant overhead kick in the 54th minute. Edward Sadomba equalised for the Warriors Legends in the 83rd minute.
