Castle Lager National Braai Festival Returns for 10th Edition

The countdown is on for the 10th edition of the Castle Lager National Braai Festival, scheduled for October 18 at Glamis Arena in Harare. Excitement is building across the country through a series of dynamic roadshows.

The promotional tour has already visited Mashonaland Central, Gweru, and Masvingo, with more stops planned in the coming weeks. Chitungwiza will host the next leg on September 13 at Monkey Shoulders, followed by Chipiwa Gardens in Marondera on September 14. The tour continues at Kadoma’s Speedway Bar on September 20 and Jongwe Corner in Chinhoyi on September 21. Harare will welcome the festivities on September 27 at Jongwe Corner, while Bulawayo will join in at Hartsfield on October 4. The final roadshow will take place at Madziro Bar in Mutare on October 11, just one week before the main festival.

Organisers expressed enthusiasm about the milestone event and its impact over the years. “Castle Lager proudly marks a decade of hosting the Castle Lager National Braai Festival, set for October 18, 2025. To commemorate this milestone, we have launched a series of 10 Micro Castle Lager Braai events across 10 cities in 10 braai hotspots throughout Zimbabwe, running every weekend leading up to the big day,” the statement read.

Each micro-event features live performances from top local artistes and DJs, combining music, food, and the signature taste of Castle Lager. The events aim to create memorable experiences while celebrating the long-standing braai culture in Zimbabwe.

The festival also carries a charitable focus. Castle Lager will donate 10 state-of-the-art hospital beds to a local hospital in each city hosting a micro braai event. This initiative highlights the brand’s commitment to supporting the communities that have embraced it over the past 130 years.

With music, food, and community engagement, the 10th Castle Lager National Braai Festival promises to be the largest yet, continuing a decade-long tradition of bringing Zimbabweans together for a celebration like no other.
