Charles Mungoshi Jnr crushes over his mother

Charles Mungoshi Jnr, the son of Zimbabwe’s most celebrated author recently glowed with pride over his mum’s performance in the movie Cook Off. Jesesi Mungoshi is part of a star studded cast in the romanic movie which premiered on Netflix on 1 June. It is the only production to come out of Zimbabwe to show on such a prestigious forum as Netflix.

Charles wrote, ‘I want to celebrate my mum for featuring in Cook Off- A Zimbabwean movie that is the first Zimbabwean film to air on Netflix”. Netflix has been on a drive to promote African content and the local production is part of several African movies being shown. Other cast members on the film include Eddie Sandifolo and Tehn Diamond. Jesesi Mungoshi is a seasoned actress
who rose to fame with a stunning peformance in the 90’s movie Neria.
