Gemma Griffiths and her Vans cause a stir.
Gemma Griffiths seems not to be backing down. Barely two months after she caused a stir on social media by posting images of her London trip with dirty vans shoes, the singer is at it again. A recent image of the artist wearing dirty and torn tennis shoes has surfaced. The image was taken at a recent live show where she perfomed.
Gemma shared the pic herself and dared her fans that they would not recognize her if she wore clean shoes. She captioned,”Imajeni if I wore clean shoes, would you recognise me”. Gemma set tongues wagging when she shared images of hereslf in a bar in London as she prepared for the launch of Davido and Chris Brown’s song. Her dirty shoes became a topical issue and fans asked wh she had failed to clean them.
Gemma seems to have gone from bad to worse as evidenced by the torn shoes seen in the recent image. Some loyal fans came to her defence and sad white people do not really care about such issues of dressing and flashy clothes as opposed to black people who would rather starve to death in order to buy expensive clothing. Others pointed out that priorities differ and the most important thing is that she is making a decent living through her musical calling.
Gemma rose to fame with her remix of Winky D’s Musarove big man. The two later joined forces to produce the hit song Mugarden. Gemma can speak Shona fluently. She has released songs that include Murudo.
