Speaking to NewsDay Life & Style, Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo organiser Raisedon Baya explained the importance of the initiative. “In the appeal for support, we want to create a small stage and venue specifically to discover and support emerging artists. That is the support we are looking for,” he said.

Baya further highlighted the festival’s ongoing efforts to raise funds to support performances by emerging artists during the event. This endeavor aims to nurture talent in poetry, music, hip-hop, writing, and other creative disciplines, providing a much-needed platform for young artists to showcase their work.
