Jazz Divas Set to Light Up Borrowdale Racecourse for International Women’s Day

Borrowdale Racecourse in Harare will be the place to be this Sunday as five sensational jazz divas unite to celebrate International Women’s Day. Led by the versatile Tariro Chaniwa, popularly known as Tariro Negitare, the lineup includes the legendary Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana, the energetic Hope Masike, the soulful Duduzile Manhenga, and the talented Thandi Dhlana from Bulawayo.

The event, running under the theme “For All Women and Girls: Rights, Equality and Empowerment,” is set to be a powerful tribute to women who are making an impact in various sectors. It is powered by Proweb, an organization celebrating its 20th anniversary and dedicated to advancing women’s empowerment.

Tariro Negitare expressed excitement about the event, emphasizing its significance beyond just music. “This is more than a performance—it’s a day to honor women who are changing lives in business, fashion, and other industries,” she said. She also highlighted that the event provides a platform for networking and collaboration among women entrepreneurs.

The show promises to be an electrifying experience for jazz lovers.
