Legends Night Concert Moves to Rainbow Towers, Strengthens Ecobank Partnership

The highly anticipated Legends Night concert, originally set for Harare Gardens, has been moved to Rainbow Towers Auditorium, with organizers citing a desire to create a more welcoming atmosphere for attendees. The event, scheduled for April 6, promises a nostalgic yet fresh musical experience, featuring In Total, a boy band known for their dynamic performances of classic and contemporary Zimbabwean hits.

Ecobank Joins as Key Sponsor

The venue change follows a strengthened partnership with Ecobank, which has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the arts sector. Enelesi Simwaka, Ecobank’s Head of Marketing, emphasized the importance of financial institutions in nurturing creative talent.

“Supporting emerging artists not only helps them gain exposure and develop their craft but also fosters innovation and creativity within the community,” said Simwaka.

She added that the bank recognizes the potential of young Zimbabwean artists in shaping the future of the country’s music and arts scene.

“By investing in them, we are contributing to a rich cultural heritage that can inspire generations to come. This investment is not just about financial support; it is also about fostering an environment where creativity can thrive,” she explained.

A Night to Remember

The concert will not only offer live performances from In Total but will also serve as a platform for young artists to showcase their talent. Joseph Chinouriri, a founding member of In Total and renowned saxophonist, expressed his excitement about Ecobank’s involvement.

“This is the second time we are partnering with Ecobank, and we are thrilled that they believe in our brand,” said Chinouriri.

The concert will also be recorded for social media, allowing fans worldwide to enjoy the experience. Chinouriri reassured fans that all necessary copyright measures have been taken, ensuring a smooth and professional production.

“We have paid the copyright license, and as it stands, we are free to use or play any song according to authorities,” he confirmed.

Legends Night Goes Global

Beyond the Harare concert, Chinouriri revealed that Legends Night is set to expand to Bulawayo, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with preparations already in motion.

“After this April 6 event, we are planning to take the concept globally. We are in talks with friends in Bulawayo to bring the show there. Legends Night is also going to the UK and the US, and preparations are at an advanced stage,” he announced.

Ticket Holders Reassured

For those who had already purchased tickets for Harare Gardens, Chinouriri assured that tickets remain valid for the new venue at Rainbow Towers.

The Legends Night concert is shaping up to be a landmark event, blending music, culture, and artistic collaboration. Ecobank’s sponsorship underscores the vital role financial institutions can play in fostering the creative industry.

With excitement building, fans can look forward to an unforgettable evening of Zimbabwean musical excellence.
