Madam boss lends helping hand
Madam boss has been showering the less privileged with gifts and love. The comedian and business woman was recently in Chakari where Ashe gave food hampers to villagers and posed for photos with them. The comedian had earlier on announced her partnership with Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh. She said Dikeh had been looking for a foundation to work with in Zimbabwe and had thus engaged Madam boss to help spearhead the project
The villagers were all smiles as their favourite celebrity handed over sugar,soap,flour and other food items. The current lockdown necessitated by the corona virus pandemic has caused untold suffering and hunger to most people. Those in rural areas, who normally survive on selling produce from their gardens have been restricted travel due to the lockdown.
The donations by Madam boss were a welcome relief. Another major sponsor was Primkett Visa travels. Celebrities have been lending a helping hand to those in need during this difficult period. Tinashe Mutarisi of Nash paints recently donated some food hampers while Killer T, through his foundation donated to the elderly in Mbare. Companies have also been assisting with money. These include Econet, Telone and Delta.
Madam boss is no stranger to helping others. A few weeks ago, she appealed for help to save a young lady suffering from blood cancer and it yielded results. She also helped a cleaner at Mvuma last year. The comedian has since launched her own foundation to help those in need.
