Yollanda Chimbarami Celebrates Meeting Miss International 2023 Ahead of Global Finals

Miss International Zimbabwe, Yollanda Chimbarami, is celebrating a special moment after meeting Andrea Rubio of Venezuela, who won Miss International 2023. Yollanda described Andrea as humble, down to earth and fun loving. She shared her excitement on Facebook, calling Andrea the sweetest and noting the positive energy she brings to the pageant community.

Yollanda highlighted the unity within the Miss International sisterhood. She said that different flags and cultures can still move with one heartbeat. She added that the pageant promotes real connections among contestants.

Reflecting on her journey, the 26 year old said she values the chance to learn and grow. She said that the competition has been incredible and that she is grateful to experience Japan while preparing for the final event. She noted that she has met many talented contestants from different countries and that each interaction has added to her experience. She also said she feels honoured to represent Zimbabwe on an international stage.

The Miss International pageant will take place on November 27 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The event is known for its focus on cultural exchange and unity. Contestants take part in charity activities, cultural tours and sub contests that promote peace and understanding.

More than 50 contestants will compete this year. The event gives Yollanda a chance to showcase Zimbabwe’s culture, values and identity to a global audience.
