Matojeni Melo Maniacs Set to Drop eLondon Visuals After Successful European Tour

Globetrotting Afrocentric group Matojeni Melo Maniacs will release visuals for their new single eLondon on November 27. The group says the song captures a humorous and relatable story of someone who dreams of visiting London but cannot afford the trip. The character relies on their own two feet as the only transport they can manage.

Group director Blessings Nqo said the idea for eLondon was born during their recent European tour, which ran from June to early October. He said the team felt a strong creative connection during the trip. He added that fans can expect a polished sound that reflects the work they put into the project.

Nqo confirmed that the music video was filmed soon after the group returned home. He said the visuals match the energy of the song and present a clean and professional look.

Matojeni Melo Maniacs is made up of five artists. Thandeka Patricia Jele, known as Thandy Dhlana. Gugulethu Sibanda, known as Gugue. Cheryl Mabaya. Mthabisi Moyo. Bekezela Siziba, known as Sjure. Their different strengths create a unified performance style rooted in culture and storytelling.

The release of eLondon marks another step in the group’s growing global journey. The blend of humour, real life themes and Afrocentric sound is expected to connect with audiences at home and abroad.
