Noel Zembe breaks down after receiving donations

Gospel musician Noel Zembe was all emotional as he extended his gratitude to the people that donated food hampers to his family. The once popular face of television rocked the airwaves about a decade ago with his melodious voice and uplifting lyrics.

Zembe released songs that soothed the souls of gospel music lovers. He is actually regarded as one of the pioneers of course contemporary gospel music in Zimbabwe. Songs such as Chemai netariro proved his amazing singing talent. Zembe was surprised with some food stuffs and broke down in tears as he accepted the gifts.

Zembe said he is currently going through tough times and like other musicians has been hard hit by the current lockdown. He fervently thanked his benefactors for remembering him during this period amid a stream of tears. He also asked for more blessings to be added to those that had donated to him.

Indeed musicians have experienced the cold bite of the lockdown. Due to restrictions on gatherings, they can no longer hold shows. Royalties can no be relies on due to massive piracy and online shows hardly pay anything. It has been a tough ride for most.

Zembe collaborated with several singer’s including Ivy Kombo . His music has proved to be timeless judging by the way people still enjoy and rave about it.
