Hip hop singer T Gonz has been selected to entertain guests at Olinda Chapel’s high tea in the UK. The event, which usually attracts scores of people, will be held in Birmingham. Olinda recently announced on her social media handles that T Gonz will perform at the event.
The theme for the high tea this year is African royalty. It will be held on 5 October 2019. It will be hosted by Aunty Jenny and Uncle Ged. T Gonz will join Vimbai Zimuto who is also set to perform at the high tea.
The high tea is an annual event organized by the Olinda Chapel foundation. Olinda gushed at the idea of incorporating an African theme for this year’s edition. She stated that even the menu will consist of special African dishes.
Olinda received backlash after advertising for male models to serve food at the high tea wearing traditional nhembe. She has however not been dettered by such criticism as she continues to plan for the big day.
T Gonz has been cementing his career and defyimg the odds. He has released songs such as Kure Kure, Kufamba murima and Bazooker Enzo nemapumacol.
