Wicknell Chivayo’s Ex-Wife Sonja Madzikanda Threatens to Expose His Secrets

While businessman Wicknell Chivayo seems to have found love with Lucy Muteke, simmering tensions with his ex-wife, Sonja Madzikanda, are threatening to escalate. Madzikanda has hinted at exposing some of Chivayo’s darkest secrets, reigniting drama between the former couple.

Despite previously appearing to endorse Chivayo’s new relationship, Madzikanda took to Instagram recently to vent her frustrations. The pair publicly announced their breakup early last year, but it appears unresolved issues remain.

“Leave my friends alone, and don’t be surprised. Remember I told you. I was like, ‘if you don’t settle with me, we gonna take this public and we gonna get Lulu and your relatives to put you under pressure to do the need for,’” she ranted.

Her remarks suggest that tensions have been brewing for some time and that she had warned Chivayo about making their issues public.

Madzikanda also appeared to take offense at claims that her friends played a role in their separation.

“Wicknell, till this day, cannot believe that I dumped him publicly. He was begging for months. He was like, ‘Just publicly apologise and then we can go back together.’ I’m interested in you and I’ve said that enough times and you’re in shock,” she said.

Interestingly, in December, Madzikanda seemed to have accepted Chivayo’s new romance and even encouraged him to move on.

“If he has moved on and has found love and wants to be a better guy for this chic, then to be honest with you, we should all clap hands and say well done.

“I am happy that he launched this because now anything to do with him in 2025 has nothing to do with me.

“I think that Lulu girl is absolutely beautiful, I used to bake scones for her. I am sure her and Wicknell will make a lovely couple and if it ends in marriage, good for them,” she said.

Over the weekend, Chivayo took his relationship with Lulu to the next level by paying roora (bride price) at her family’s home in Marondera. However, with Madzikanda now making fresh threats to reveal more about their past, it remains to be seen if Chivayo’s new chapter will remain drama-free.
