Zex Manatsa and wife reminisce on their 1979 wedding memories

Musician Zex Manatsa and his wife took fans down memory lane as he shared a picture of his wedding day poster. The soft spoken singer tied the knot with his wife in 1979 at Rufaro stadium. The event was one that even fans will remember for a lifetime as it introduced a concept that included fans taking part in the wedding proceedings.

While most people would be sceptical about filling up a stadium with people to witness their wedding, Sex and his wife did the unimaginable. Their wedding was attended by over 50 000 people. Manatsa and wife relish memories of their August 25th wedding which made the headlines. Guests paid a minimal fee of one dollar for adults and fifty cents for kids and drinks were provided. Zex’s band provided entertainment muh to the amusement of the crowd.
