Zimbabweans model Barbara Hassen, who is based in the USA is pinning her hopes on winning the cover girl title for renowned men’s magazine Maxim. The young beauty is the leading girl in a group of five competitors who are battling for the much coveted prize money of US 25 000,00.

Maxim is an international men’s magazine that was launched in 1995. It has an estimated 9 million readers per month. The magazine covers are usually adorned with beautiful women in skimpy outfits and swimwear. Truth be told, the magazine seeks to get the attention of its make audience at all cost.

Barbara is of Zimbabwean nationality and she beat beat stiff competition to end up in the top 5. She is also a beauty with brains as she is currently studying for a bachelor of science in healthcare administration.
