  1. He was on born the 13th of  August 1978
  2. He launched his professional career at Jomo Cosmos in South Africa in 1999
  3. In 2001, he was voted PSL Player of the Season and PSL Players’ Player of the Season in South Africa.
  4. In 2001 he left for Europe to join  Switzerland team ,  Grasshopper Zurich
  5. In 2002 he moved to Auxerre
  6. On 2006 he was signed to Portsmouth for £4.1 million after a recommendation from Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger .
  7. After his Portsmouth signed he also played for  Manchester City, Sunderland and Blackburn Rovers before returning to Portsmouth in 2011
  8. He played for the Zimbabwe National Football team 31
  9. He retired from international football in October 2010 in order to concentrate on his club career.
  10. In his career he played for  Zulu Rovers,Highlanders FC Juniors, Zimba Africa Rivers, University of Zimbabwe teams in Zimbabwe’s Division one and Air Zimbabwe Jets in the country’s Premier League in 1999.
  11. Benjani moved to Manchester City in  2008 for a fee of £3.87 million on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
