7. Danai Gurira – Danai is an activist for women’s rights. She is also an actress and has appeared on Law and Order not only as an actor but a playwright on the show.In 2009 she was in a show called Eclipse.

8. Gerald Machona – Gerald is a visual artist based in South Africa. He works with sculpture, performance, new media, photography and film. In 2013 Machona was featured in South African Mail and Guardian’s 200 Young South African’s supplemental and was selected by Business Day and the Johannesburg Art Fair in 2011 as one of the top ten young Africans in South Africa.

9. Kudzanai Chiurai –Kudzanai was the first black recipient of a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Pretoria and he has become an important figure in African art. His latest work entitled This Is Not Africa This Is Us, a three-part exhibition involving video installation took place in Rotterdam and The Hague in March 2014.

10. Ruvheneko Parirenyatwa – At only 25 she’s been named one of the most influential Young Zimbabweans. Ruvheneko is a talk show host on Zimbabwe’s fastest growing and first ever private radio station, ZiFM Stereo. Her show focuses on health matters, politics, social issues and youth focused discussions.
