Gospel Singer Cynthia Mare Ventures Into Acting

Zimbabwean entertainment industry is catching up with the rest of the world on the whole double and triples threat entertainer. Normally we’ve hardly seen a singer doing acting or the other way round.

The latest to join the movement after the likes of Tehn Diamond and Ammara Brown is gospel songstress Cynthia Mare. Cynthia just announced on her Facebook page that she’s part of a new series set to come out soon called “Statements”.

“Hey guys!! Did I mention that I’m now acting? I act as a successful young woman”, she said sharing her excitement. “Statements” will focus on day to day conflicts we face in our societies like blessings and betrayal, faith and temptation, relationships and resentment and opportunities and oppression. Seems like a must watch, we can’t wait.

We are not sure if the show will be on one of the new TV channels or ZBC, will keep you posted. Congratulations to the talented star who is doing a great job at expanding her brand.
