Matthew Rusike scores brace
Warriors midfielder Matthew Rusike scored a brace in Halmstad’s 4-2 defeat against Djurgadens on Saturday. Djurgadens opened the scoring in the 24th minute through Sebastian Andersson but Matthew Rusike scored an equalizer after 32 minutes.
The Zimbabwean player then gave Halmstad a 2-1 lead 3 minutes before half time.
Rusike’s efforts were however not enough to secure victory for Halmstad as Djurgadens rallied back by scoring three second half goals which handed them a 4-2 win.
Rusike is part of players called up to the Warriors squad that will clash with Guinea in an Afcon qualifier this Sunday.
