Eighteen year old, Courtney Venencia Matende, was crowned Miss Gweru on Friday. The beauty transcended other 11 contestants and walked away with various of prizes including a Tablet.Check Out: The new miss Gweru 2016.

Zandile Sithole, a 19 year old University of Zimbabwe Student who is currently studying Political Science was crowned first princess and Miss Personality. Michelle Mupasi, a Form Five student at Mkoba 3 High School was crowned second princess and Miss Socialite. The Miss Punctuality title was awarded to Rufaro Musabani.

Venencia reportedly said she planned to assist the underprivileged through charity work, especially orphans. She will also also embark on an environmental awareness campaign through the cleanups.
