Barclays Bank  Scraps VISA Card Usage Outside Zim! Permission is now required to access money in your VISA card money prior to leaving the country. The comes after not so long ago the bank introduced limits of $50 ATM and $100 POS amidst currency shortages rocking the country

In an email to their clients, the bank wrote:

“Dear customer, VISA Card Changes Please be advised that usage of VISA card for cross border transactions is now subject to prior arrangements and approvals by Barclays Bank. VISA Card Changes Applications can be made through your nearest Barclays branch. All limits on your local Barclays ZimSwitch-ready debit cards will remain unchanged. ”
