MDC A leader Nelson Chamisa recently revealed his not so sweet side as he humiliated his wife in front of hundreds of people. His wife, Sithokozile was in the middle of addressing supporters at a rally on Saturday when the jilted MDC leader grabbed the microphone from er and warned that it was him that had come to make an speech and not vice versa.
Sithokozile was reminiscing on the old days and appraising the late ounding leader of the party Morgan Tsvangirai and his wife Susan for the sacrifice they had made for the party to grow. It was at that point that Chamisa swooped the microphone from her and remarked,”That is enough. No, it is me who has come to make speeches”. The public stunt pulled by Chamisa has set tongues wagging with most people castiatinh him for his lack of respect for women.
Chamisa has received a lot of backlash and people said that he ought to tender a public apology for embarrassing his wife in full view of supporters. Others said his wife had it coming judging from the way she spoke. It has been alleged that Chamisa’s wife lacked confidence and he was probably trying to save her from further embarrassing herself.
Some women have called on the wife of the MDC leader to up her game if she is contemplating on becoming the future first wife. She has been compared to the likes of former first lady Grace Mugabe who spoke with so much Passion and vigour and the current first lady Auxilia Mnangagwa who usually speaks with authority at rallies and public gatherings.
