Edzai Kasinauyo says junior football national policy in the pipeline

Former Warriors midfielder and Zifa Board member Edzai Kasinauyo says a national policy will soon serve as a guidline to developing young talent in the country.

The Zimbabwe Football Association has in the past come under fire for failing to put in place realistic structures which enhance junior development.

When asked by the Sports and Recreation Commission about what the Association is doing to ensure grass roots development, Edzai Kasinauyo assured the SRC, Zifa will in the coming months come up with a framework which enhances junior football development.

Kasinauyo made the remarks at a recent meeting between Zifa and the Ministry of Sport and Recreation.
