Gemma Griffiths rubs shoulders with Davido and Chris Brown.

Zimbabwean songstress Gemma Griffiths of the mugarden fame is wining and dining with musical bigwigs. The singer is currently in London, recently attended the launch party for Nigerian Davido and American Chris Brown’s latest single.

The single is titled” Blow my mind”. The launch party was held on the 28th of July. Gemma Griffiths was part of the guests at the event which was strictly by invite. She showed off images of herself at the launch. The singer clearly knows how to mix and mingle and the calibre of people she likes to associate herself with. Indeed she has fine taste.

Gemma rose to fame when she did a rendition of Winky D’s song “Musarove bigman”. She went in to collaborate with him on a smashing hit song called ” Mugarden”. The song became a chart topper both locally and regionally. She has also released songs such as Irony and My town. Gemma is one of the few white Zimbabwean artists who can speak Shona fluently. She is regarded as a gem within the music industry.

Zimbabwean artists can take a leaf from Gemma’s traversts in the U.K. It is important for local artists to attend such events and network with those who have made it big in the industry.
