EXQ had jokingly received the popurlar phrase by the late president Robert Mugabe that is trending nowadays (vanhu vanovhunduka ka) literally translating to say that if people started posting such unfounded rumours, they will be shocked. He said that he is an integral part of MTM and will not be leaving the group.

The group has released songs such as mbakumba and chekeche. The group itself is a talent hub, bringing together experienced and talented artists under one roof. Their only female member Tahle wedzinza recently parted ways with the group.

MTM has its own studios and producers such as Chiweddar. Various rumours have been circulating about other members of ing to leave the group but nothing has materialised as alleged. EXQ and his fellow band mates seem to enjoy cordial relations as evidenced by their continued release of new songs.
