Gonyeti under pressure.

Local comedian Gonyeti has become the target of presidential nominations after news of Ukranian’s Volodymyr Zelensky’s participation in the presidential race reached the ears of many. In spite of being a comedian, Zelensky shocked many people when he announced that he would be running for president in Ukraine. In a stunning development, Zelensky has so far been one of the front runners and amassed a large number of votes in the first round of the presidential election.

Most Zimbabweans have now turned their eyes on local comedians to emulate such courage and ambition with the most talked about personality being Gonyeti.

Most people see Gonyeti as a resilient and strong woman who will be able to hole the presidential office. With the current movement of women emancipation, Gonyeti has been picked as the most ideal presidential candidate.

Gonyeti is well known in the arts industry and is affiliated to the notorious Bustop t.v. She mainly focuses her work on daily occurrences to which she puts a comic spin thereby making her popurlar. She has also appeared in music videos.

Gonyeti was earlier in this year arrested for a perfomance that she did in which she mimicked commissioner Charity Charamba. She has not however been deterred and continues to amuse fans with well thought out skits. Her recent skit focuses on the increase in the bread price and is titled ‘breadwinner’.
