Queen Tatelicious versus Zodwa Wabantu, The drama queens of Southern Africa.

South Africans often mention Zodwa Wabantu whenever the topic of bold and fearless women is discussed. Queen Tatelicious quickly comes to mind when a similar topic is raised in Zimbabwe. There are certain striking similarities between the two ladies.

Both ladies like to show off their bodies and at times exceed the set parameters for public dress code. They are not ashamed of exposing more than necessary.

Zodwa rose to fame entirely based on e controvesial stunts and outspoken character. She often lashes out at those who try to criticize her demenour. She recently had tongues wagging ith her ll baring outfit at the Durban July.

Queen Tatelicious has also had her fair share of controvesies. The mere fact that she was born male and underwent surgery to transform into a woman has been a huge issue in Zimbabwe. The queen loves to flaunt her assets. She often poses semi naked for photos and records herself dancing in outrageous, skimpy outfits. She recently caused furore when she posted a string of videos dancing along to local songs. Queen Tatelicious vigorously shook her assets to Sulumani Chimbetu’s song about sekuru Ndunge, a Rhumba song and Baba Harare’s Automatically song. In all the videos she was almost naked.

Zodwa raised eyebrows early this year when she bought her own coffin. People found it strange. She later on had tongues wagging after showing off her young patner reminiscent of a Ben 10.

Both ladies are not moved by negative comments. In the midst of attacks, they actually increase their pace in unleashing even more public stunts. These ladies, love them or hate them, exude confidence. They are both earning a living out of their scrutinized careers.
