Speaking to Entrepreneur magazine about his background and where he is now, 50 Cent says growing up in Queens and without much prepared him mentally because he had nothing to lose.

“Our society loves a train-wreck”, he says. ” sometimes the person who was supposed to be the butt of the joke can learn the information faster and continue to be around and continue to have success.”

“There are some people out there who gauge a person’s intelligence based on whether they have a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Associate’s degree, that doesn’t teach instinct at all.” 50 Cent says being involved in business with people who haven’t been through a fraction of what you’ve been through makes you fearless in making business decisions.

According to 50Cent most people with qualifications don’t know about instinct or gut feeling, they have the information but they don’t live the information.

What keeps on driving the hip-hop mogul is that there’s always something new to work towards, he says for everyone who has an entrepreneurship spirit once they achieve a goal, they set up another one to achieve.
