Buffalo Souljah in underwear storm

Dancehall musician Buffalo Souljah was recently caught in the eye of an underwear storm after posting pictures of himself clad in nothing else but a pair of Calvin Klein underwear. The picture seemed to be part of a campaign by the renowned fashion label in which the musician is a representative.

After being on the receiving end of malicious comments, Buffalo Souljah stood his ground and lambasted Africans for being backward. He posted a picture of previous models like Justin Bieber and David Beckham who in the past have been pictured in Calvin Klein underwear as brand ambassadors. He then questioned why people were quick to judge him but had marvelled when the other two had done the same.

The singer said that he was perplexed with the African way of thinking and lack of support for their own. He labelled them as hypocrites. He even emphasized his point by reffering to ancient black cave man who walked around nearly naked. He reiterated that nasty comments were not going to stop him from doing what he likes.

Buffalo Souljah has always been on the forefront in terms of exhorting people to support their local artists. He once remarked that he had failed to get recognition in Zimbabwe and decided to test the waters in South Africa where he had thrived and received numerous accolades only for the Zimbabweans to acknowledge him then.

Buffalo Souljah is famous for songs such as ‘Bubble ya bums’, ‘Gwenya’ and ‘Turn up’. He has won several awards and has collaborated with the likes of Freeman, Winky D and Enzo ishall. On the international scene Buffalo Souljah has collaborated with big names such as Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Diamond Platinumz and 2Baba
